We love the little boardies from CT. This is our second year buying matching suits for our boys and they are just such good quality, and so comfortable. The boardies are not as short as you'd think and they're pretty perfect on my lanky & lean four year old. Love that they have a tie at the waist so I can cinch it up on his skinny little body.

Perfect floatie!
I bought one of these for my 2 year old (who isn’t experienced in the water) and he loved it! It made him feel very confident and he loved trying to swim with it.
